I admit it. I am a plant whore. I love them. I love taking care of them, watching them grow and thrive, and I especially love propagating. Winter is a challenge, as my house doesn’t have the kind of space I need where the sun shines the most. Being the crafty bitch I am, I finally created a workable system.
I started by moving the ones that had been in the front window and were really not happy. There were many soldiers that didn’t make it, whether by lack of sun, lack of water, or general “wtf! how did I kill that one???”. Everyone got a big drink since it’s been a few months–the last few months they only got a little water every 2-3wks. I set up my clamp lights with grow lightbulbs so they have lots of light. I was worried about the cats–the can be destructive little bishes. So I took a roll of silver insulation and put it around the table. We shall see how the next couple weeks go, but if it works, then I’m totally doing this again and giving up my table for a few months!
