If you ever saw the life hack of using a hot glue gun on the back of a rug to help with traction—try it!  It totally works!  We have a gorgeous new rug that was super slippery, and I decided to try it.  I forgot my nemesis the hot glue gun would leave me with a bunch of little burns and a pointer finger in distress.  If you have a big project to use hot glue on, I highly recommend an automatic glue gun!!  Luckily, I had a back-up plan: I made my 9yr old do it.  This was a win win because he was thrilled to use the hot glue gun, and it gave my poor finger a respite.
